Our client produces an ever-increasing number of annual events and thousands of business executives with tailored and practical conferences, keeping them up to date with industry trends, technological developments, and regulatory announcements across many vertical markets. With offices on five continents, our client has grown to become the industry leader in planning, delivering, and managing conferences, tradeshows, workshops, seminars, and more. They currently have an immediate and exciting opening for a Sponsorship Sales Executive in NYC.
  
As a Sponsorship Sales Executive, you can expect:  
  • A base salary of 60-70k
  • Uncapped commission

In this exciting sponsorship sales role, you will perform the following tasks:  
  • Driving new sponsorship revenue 
  • Delivering independent research to identify the target audience and potential sponsors
  • Prospecting for new business and building a sales pipeline
  • Developing and maintaining a database of existing and potential sponsors
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
  • Performing key account management
  • Liaison with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • CRM maintenance
  • Attending events to ensure smooth running and improve customer service through face-to-face interaction
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and traits:  
  • Degree educated
  • 2+ years B2B sales experience
  • 1+ years conference, events, sponsorship, or digital media sales experience
  • A record of sales achievement
  • New business experience
  • Intelligent and articulate candidates
  • Structured approach and solid time management
  • Motivated
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • A mature outlook and strong commercial awareness
